2010

I believe that 2010 was a really good year for me. I have learned a lot of thing this year and I really feel like I have grown. And I must say that a lot of that has to directly do with my boyfriend of 4 1/2 years and me breaking up.

Of course I was really sad when it happened but now I have had time to think and grow and I realize that I am much happier in the last few months than I have been in years.

This last month for me has been particularly crazy. My family moved. We still live in Houston but a new house that is closer for the rest of it. It is smaller and I have to share a room with my sister now but I love it here. It is so pretty and I could not have asked for a better house to live in.

I received a Kindle as my Christmas present from my parents and I love it. I pretty much carry it around with me everywhere I go. I was really against them for the longest time because they are going to kill the written book one day but I must say that now I am a huge fan of them.

I have also made a bunch of videos and you can view them here if you wish.

I have had such a great year so I cannot wait to see what 2011 brings.

Love ya,
Christina

So Blah

I really hate nights like this. It is Friday night and I am sitting in my room so bored. I really just want to do something. It is not like there is no one here to hang out. It is one of those things were nobody wants to compromise on what they want to do. Everyone is so set on what they want to do so they do not even want to hear what other people want to do. It is just really pissing me off. So here I am on Friday night with nothing to do.

In the Last Month

So what have I done in the last month? Let us see.

-I freaking wrote a novel. I wrote 50,334 words for it and finished on the last day. I really did not thinkt that I was going to finish but I wrote like a mad person during Thanksgiving break and finished just in time.

-My family bought a new house and we are moving into in two weeks. I pretty excited because my room has this little nook which is going to be my reading area. That is so exciting.

-I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and had very little complaints about it. It is my favorite so far and I cannot wait for part 2 to come out.

-I stopped talking to the ex for about two weeks but he has somehow been able to wiggle his way back into texting me everyday with me responding. I really need to stop texting him back again.

-Ate a ton of food. So. Much. Food.

That is pretty much all that I can think of right now. I was thinking about something earlier and that is why I wanted to blog right now. When I first started this blog in January, one of the frist things I wrote about was how I wanted to go and live in London for a year. Now I am not going there for a year but I am going for about two weeks in May so I think that is pretty awesome.

The only thing is I am probably not going to bring my laptop so I will be without the internet for the most while over there. So any videos or blogs will have to come later so it will not be as good play-by-play action as I would want. Oh, well.

Christina

Happy November

Well it is November, which mean it is time for NaNoWriMo. This is my first year trying and things went well for today.I wrote over 3000 words today. Let's just see how well I am doing next week.

So I kind of want to say I am sorry for how much I have sucked at writing blog posts lately. Basically the last month of my life has pretty much sucked hard core. I feel better about it so I have no problem sharing it with you strangers. I was dating this one guy for the last four and half years. Everything was going pretty good for us until he randomly tells me that he wants to take a break. So that sucked because early that night he had told me how he loves me. Then the next day, I found out that he is now dating someone else.

Yeah so that was really pretty rough. It has been getting better for me. I have been trying to go out and have some fun with my friends more. I really think that helps cause it forces me to get out of my room and be with people. There is nothing I can do to get over him right away but I am trying. We shall see how it all turns out.

Hello There

Hi everyone. I just felt like I need to write a blog post.

I am so very excited to be going to Europe this summer. I have never been so I cannot wait. I have always want to go to London and I finally get to. I think what I really I am excited for is buying Galaxy chocolate and the British version of Harry Potter.

I really do not know what else to blog about. I am doing NaNoWriMo this year. I also made a new video today basically talking about what has been going on in my life lately. So enjoy those if you want.

Here Comes the Complaining

I know, I know. I am trying to be more positive but here I am again complaining.

Basically, for one of my classes, we have to come up with a creative way to present to the class what our group has picked for the five characteristics of an effective teacher. We were put into groups based on what grade levels we want to teach. Which means that the other people in my group want to teach the younger children.

All of the other groups are talking about doing sketches and other fun ideas like that. This one lady (and I do mean lady; she is much older than everyone else in the class) wants to do a power point. The rest of us are thinking no way because we want to do something creative so we can get a good grade. The rest of us then decide that we want to make a video of our own version of Dora the Explore.

I told everyone that I have a camera that I can use and I can edit it together. I then pull out my camera because I had it with me. The lady then tells me that my camera with be ineffective for our project. A BRAND NEW HD CAMERA IS INEFFECTIVE?!?!?! That makes no sense to me at all.

We then start to assign parts to everyone. One girl is to play Dora, three people are ineffective teachers and one is the effective teacher. Those of us that are playing the ineffective teachers said what we are going to do that will make us look bad. She then says that we all need to go to the YouTubes to find a link on how to be a bad teacher. I mean really now? I think that part is really easy.

Then she made a big deal about filming. The majority of us can meet on one day and she cannot. We told her that we will film all our parts that day and she can film her part another day. She got mad at us for not all filming on the same day. We had already told her what we are going to do.

She then kept going on and on about how we need this poster board with a heart on it so that Dora could pick that one. We were kind of like ok. Then she still kept talking about that heart.

Then on top of that, she still wants to do a powerpoint presentation to go over exactly what we are going to do in the video.

Someone please save me. This all happened in about 30 minutes. Pretty much no one wants to work with her now in our group.

Love ya,
Christina

So Much Reading

I love the fact that I am an education major. I cannot wait to get into the classroom and start teaching. I know that is where I am suppose to be and that is where I want to be but first I have to go through school.

There are some definite perks to being an education major. The first one is the lack of tests. All of my friends are complaining about all the tests that they have this week and next week. Normally I would be right there with them but not this semester. It seems so strange to me that they are having tests already. I feel like school just started but this is our fourth week.

My first test that I have is a midterm in October. Which means I have about a month until then. That gives me lots of time to start studying (yeah right). I guess I feel so disconnected from the rest of the university because the school of education is very exclusive. Only education majors can take these classes.

On the other hand, I have so much reading to do for all of my classes. As soon as I think I am done, there is more to be read. As much as I love to read, this is not my reading of choice. It is interesting but it's not something most people would read for fun. I guess that is the trade off I get for not having any tests. I at least feel like I did not read as much in my classes before.

Free Stuff

Some of my firends who just started college a few weeks ago have now just started blogs and I think that is amazing. Which makes me realize that it has almost been a week since I wrote a blog post.

I have noticed lately that I seem a bit more negative. I mean this in that I am noticing people around me acting very stupid and then in some form or another I write about. I even tweeted something along those lines a couple days ago. I guess that is something that I really need to work on.

Today, my college had a club fair on the patio of our cafeteria. It is what is sounds like. All of the clubs have a table set up and everyone can see what there is to join. The best part of the whole event is all the free stuff you get without even joining anything.

Last year when they had the club fair, it was raining so no one really went to it. This year it was not raining but it was sure was hot. I was out there for about 30 or 40 minutes and I was dying. They had these big obstacle course and water slide and other things like that. They were already up and out before I went to class at 11, so I cannoot imagine how hot they were. As far as I could see, no one was going on those. Everyone was probably thinking the same thing I was.

The good thing was that I got a nice bag, a notebook, a keychain, candy, and two new waterbottles all for free. I think that was pretty good. They had one back in August for the freshman during their orientation but since I was here working, I went during my lunch break and got a ton of free t-shirts.

Hello

Hello everyone. It has been awhile hasn't? Well how is everyone. I am doing ok. I am a little upset because it seems that my fish is dying. He seems to be doing a little bit better but I will just have to wait and see.

The reason I was gone for most of August was because I was making a video every day in August. That really did take a lot out of me. Now I have committed myself to another month long thing. I am not drinking soda for all of September. I am doing well with that but every once in a while I find myself wanting one but I have not given in.

So I am blogging in class, I know not good. This one woman, yes a woman, she is much older than everyone else, just can in 15 minutes late. I get that sometimes you are late and you do not like it but you shouldn't make a big deal about it. She comes in by slamming the door open. She then makes a huge sigh as she walks to her desk where she slams down her bag. Then as she pulls everything out, she slams those down on the table, too. It is really no big deal. You should just come in and sit down and be quiet.

Well, that is pretty much everything for right now. I am also going to try and blog a lot more because I really do like blogging. It is a lot of fun and I hope that it improves my writing,

I Have Not Been Doing My Job?

I have had a very weird feeling lately that I have been failing at my life on the internet. Of course I have not been a total failure because I have kept up with VEDA, not missing a day unlike other people.

It just seems that I have not been spending that much time on the internet. Well, this is not true either because I spend just as much time online as I normally do. I guess I feel like a passive memember of the internet lately.

I still seem to do the same things I normally do but I feel like I am not commenting as much as I use to. As if I don't want to be part of the community anymore. This would be the further thing from the truth.

I could make an excuse saying that I have been so busy, which is true but, I feel that it is not a valid excuse. I have been way busier before and still have been an active memeber of my internet community.

Maybe this is just something inside of me, telling me that there is life outside the internet and that I need to experience it. This could be true.

I really hope that this is just a passing phase and that I get back to normal soon.

Goals for Life

I was reading a friend of mine's blog. In one of her posts, she put up a list of goals for the next year. I think that this a great idea so I will now put a few goals up right now that I have.

1. Graduate. I am starting my third year of college this year and I would like to make it through the next two years and graduate.

2. Get a job. This is a real job where I can actually make a living off of not the little jobs that I have now.

3. Get married and have a family. Family has always been a big deal for me and I want to have a huge family. But first, I want to marry the man of my dreams.

4. Be able to vlog in public. I am currently participating in VEDA. I am work right now and there are actually people here today and so I am to scared to record my video right now. I want to not have this problem one day.

5. Go skydiving. I have never really wanted to do this until I saw Meekakitty do this. I am a big chicken when it comes to things lik this and I want to get over it.

These are the only things that I really want to list for right now. Maybe I will post more later, you never know.

My IRL Friends

In my last blog, I said that this whole internet friends thing is new to me. I must say that having really good irl friends is also new to me. Now, I have always had friends. The thing is that I have never had really close friends that I will make an effort to see and talk to outside of school. I guess college really is an amazing place because it seems that I have found these people now.

Since it is summer, most of my friends are no longer hanging around campus like I am. I am still talking to my friends on a real regular basis. We have been texting each other a whole bunch and I have even been able to see a few people. This is usually how I stay in contact them. It is through texts, phone calls, and face to face interaction.

Yesterday my friends and I decided to try something else. We decided that we would have a skype date. The only problem was that no one knew that we could not do a video call with more than one person. We could only use the voice function. I decided that we should use tinychat. They had the hardest time trying to figure it out even though I told them how to use it. A few of them ended up having trouble the entire time.

It was so weird to me that my irl friends and I would interact through this way because this has really been only for my internet friends. They are the ones that I talk to through skype and tinychat. Maybe I am just being weird about it but I feel like this should only be for my internet friends. Though, my irl firends loved it and cannot wait to do it again.

Annoyances and Internet Friends

I feel as if I am Hayley G. Hoover right now but I am getting very annoyed.

Every summer, my dorm rents out the top two floors of the building to different conferences. They then hire three students each summer to be a conference assistant. They are the ones that get called when ever the conference needs something. This usually just includes being locked out of their room, or needing the kitchen, media room, conference room or chapel unlocked.

One of the big ones each summer is the Houston Ballet Academy (HBA). There is usually about 120 of them and they are here for about a month. The good majority of them are pre-teens so of course, they think that they rule the world and can do whatever they want. It just annoys me to no end that I have to deal with them and they are here for another two weeks. I am so tired of having to deal with their horrible attitudes.

I suppose I am just really waiting for school to start again. There my life gains a bit more structure with which I am grateful. It is not as if I never have anything to do now, it's just that my life is so random right now. I think things to be consistent for the most part. I do love those random moments that no one can predict. They pretty much make my life worthwhile but I like knowing what generally will happen in a day.

Growing up, people have always said to be careful about meeting people through the internet. I have always followed this and made sure not to put that much personal information out there. Since I have joined YouTube, this seems to have changed. I have meet some amazing people through this website and some people that I consider to be very close friends even thought I have never meet them in real life. It is amazing to think that I would have never met these people without this wonderful website. The even crazier thing is, that I would have never met these people if it was not for Harry Potter. It just goes to show you how wonderful Harry Potter truly is.

Organized

Normally, I am a very organized person. I always make my bed and put everything away. Lately, it seems that I am not doing this anymore. It is a very weird feeling for me. I did laundry yesterday but I have yet to put my clothes away. I feel like that I am not longer myself. I wish there was something I could do so that I can be me again.

In other news, my boss' daughter birthday was today. They had a little party for her today in the dorm. It was so much fun running around with three year olds. It makes me so happy to know that I am an education major. I cannot wait to teach.

It is currently raining outside and I love it.

Sometimes, it really surprises me how immature some people are. Some people just think that they can do whatever they want whenever they want. This would not be so bad that they puts it in front of their job. I guess it may have to do with just graduating from college but you are in the real world now. They need to realize that they cannot always go and do whatever they want. They need to realize that they have a job and responsibilities now. Life is not all about fun.

Candy Land

Is it weird that I have been a really blogging mood lately? I just feel like I really want to blog a lot more than I usually do. I cannot figure out if this is a good thing or not. I told my friend Rachel this yesterday and she informed that I am very strange and that is not normal. She than told me how she has two live journals. Well, I feel that I never have really been normal so I am going to take this as a really good thing.

Today, I got work at noon. My friend, Gen, who worked after me, asked me if I wanted any food. I told her I was going to Subway and I could pick something up for her. When I returned, we ate and sang. I then grew bored and decided to look through the games they have in the closet and I found Candy Land. I have not played this game since I was a little kid. We ended up playing a little less than 20 games. I am proud to say that I won.

Love ya and hopefully I will be back tomorrow,

The Internet

I must say that this is such a new feeling for me. I think it is so weird that my generation is suppose to be the one that knows everything about the computer and the internet. I honestly really didn't start using the computer until high school. Even then, it was mostly to write papers. I didn't even get my own computer until the day I moved into my dorm freshman year. Even then I used it mainly to write papers and get on Facebook. I really did not become obsessed until about October/November of last year. This is when I started to get into YouTube. When I know for sure that I was addicted was at the end of January.

I have never been the person to know about different memes and popular videos right away. I was usually the one to find out months later. This has recently been changing for me. I have been the one to see something before it goes viral. It is weird now to have those same friends come up to me about something and me being the one to say that I have already seen it.

I find it even more weird now that on YouTube, I have a pretty loyal following for the most part. When I first joined, I was lucky if I got 20 views in 2 months. Now I get way over 20 views within the first couple of hours of uploading. I never thought I would get big on YouTube and I am still not. I have been able to make some amazing friends through it and that is something else I thought would never happen.

I also have some friends who think if they are in my videos or I mention them that they are famous. I really don't understand that. I mean my videos are not watched by that many people well at least I think so. Even if I was "popular" on YouTube, there still would not be that many people who saw my videos. As obsessed as people get with YouTube, it is still just one website in a world filled with millions of them. There are many people in the world who could care less about it and I have been told by many friends that I am way too obsessed for my own good. As much as I love it, I really do not spend that much time there to be honest. In fact I believe my love for Twitter is far greater.

I guess I am just going to have accept all of this but it is still really hard for me to believe.

Love ya,
Christina

Good Feelings

I must say that I really am enjoying that I have been blogging and vlogging a lot more. It really is a lot of fun. In fact here is a day that I am blogging and I already made a vlog here.

Yesterday, I had a dentist appointment so I swung by my house for a little while. It was really nice to be home even if it was for 30 minutes because I had not been home since Memorial day.

I must also say that I really enjoy writing stories. I was struck with an idea this morning and have been writing it today whenever I get the chance. I must say that I love having my MacBook Pro because I do take it to a lot of places with me and I am able to write whenever I feel like it.

I am very excited because I found out today that I am going to be able to attent the Remus Lupins concert next week. I thought that I would not be able to make it because I am on call next week but I have been able to work it out so that I can go. I cannot wait for real.

The Show

I know, I am finally writing about the show. I would have written about right when we got back and it was fresh in my mind but Jennifer was driving me crazy. She would not leave me alone. I mean with every text I got, she had to know from who and what it said and what I would reply back. Every time I tweeted or update my Facebook status, she had to know what I was typing. It was very annoying to have someone hovering behind me the whole time.

I got back yesterday but I was way too tired to write anything and I took awhile to edit my video that is sort of about the concert.

In the hotel, I was talking to PJ and he told me that I needed to have an adventure and not just go to the concert. I was like ok but I was not sure how that would go.

We wanted to eat before the concert and there was a Denny's across the street so we we went there. I then realized that I left my ALL CAPS CD in my bag in the room. After we finished stuffing our faces, we went back across the street to the hotel to get my CD that I never ended up getting signed.

We headed out on the road to find the bar. Jennifer sucks at giving directions. When I printed the directions, I also printed a map. She decided instead of using the direction that tells us every thing we need, she would use the map and be like "the turn is before the curvy part of the road." Which of course it was not. We got lost twice. Once I took the directions from her and saw what we really need to be doing, I got us there with no problem.

We found the park but the only parking was meters that lasted for about 3 hours. So we drove down the street a bit to a lot that was $1.50 which I think was pretty good. We then, had to make the scary walk back to the bar.

Once we got in, Jennifer became way to nervous and was sacred to talk to everyone because there were not a lot of people. I kept telling her that this was the perfect time to because they would have the time to talk. After about 10 minutes, I was able to convince her and we went up to ALL CAPS. Luke came right out to talk to us and was super nice just like I told her he would be. We ended up buying a ton of merch because everything was amazing.

We then went to stand by the stage because she was worried that we would not get a good spot. We were right in the front and it was amazing. It was funny because for almost the whole night, there was a space of about 5 feet between those of us in the front and the rest of the crowd.

The Parselmouths went first. Eia looks so adorable with the ukulele because she is so tiny. The sounded amazing even though they switched parts because Kristina was not feeling that good.

Justin Finch-Fletchley was next. I must say that he was amazing. He gave one of the best performances of the night. Before he went on, I heard a girl behind me say that he usually breaks guitar strings every night and when he played, I could see why. He puts so much energy into his music. He was jumping around everywhere and strumming really hard. I am so glad that he was able to rejoin the tour because he made it amazing.

Lauren or the Moaning Myrtles was next. She is even more cute and adorable in person. She played some songs from her band and then a few songs that were not about Harry Potter. Half way through her set, she switched from guitar to ukelele. The problem was that the cord was not really working and you could barely here the ukelele. There also was another concert on the other side of the bar and during the middle of her ukelele solo, we start to hear this really loud music. The people then told them there is another stage with another band. She kept playing and was amazing.

Matt then joined her on stage to sing a few song from their band Armoured Bearcub. It was amazing and they were adorable. I love that they are a pretty new band and that I was able to sing along with them.

Lauren then left so that Matt could transform into the Whomping Willows. He set was also amazing. Yet again he was jumping around and went he shook his head, you could see all the sweat come off. He played the most songs out of everybody but they were all so amazing. He so cute like a big teddy bear.

ALL CAPS was next. Luke came on told everyone that we need to be loud so that we could interrupt the other band like they did to Lauren. I must say that they are amazing live. I had my doubts because Luke likes to use a lot of autotune as an affect to his songs but they were amazing. Everyone was jumping around and singing so loud. For their last song, a few guys that were at the other concert came over. At first it seemed like they were making fun of everyone but then it seemed that really got into it. After the last song, everyone started chanting one more song. They said that they would but that Kristina was not up to another song and that they would hang out with people instead and so they ran off stage.

Jennifer and I then went to go and but more stuff and take pictures with everyone. We ended up buying a ROFLCOPTOUR poster which we got signed by everyone. I even got Lauren to sign my shoe. I was wearing my black converse. I think it so funny because I almost wore my purple ones and Lauren was wearing her purple converse so that would have made it much better.

We then left to walk back in the dark to my car. It really was an amazing time. I am sorry that this is so long but there was so much to tell. If you made it to this point, I hope you enjoyed because it took me a little less than an hour to write this.

Made It

I have made to Dallas successfully. I have already recorded a few things to hopefully make a vlog later about everything. Right now Jennifer and I are just chilling in our hotel room until later. PJ did tell us that we need to go out and have some fun before the concert and that he wants to hear some stories. I do not know what we will do but hopefully find something really fun to do.

More later I promise. I also am so freaking excited for tonight that I cannot wait.

Happy 4th!!

I live in America and today is the 4th of July. That means that Americans stuff their faces with hamburgers and hot dogs and shoot off fireworks to celebrate our Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence.

Usually, I shoot off fireworks with my family because we live outside Houston city limits but for the 2nd year in a row, I am at school which is in the city limits. It makes me sad that I am not with my family again. Luckily for me, one of the groups on campus has a bb q on the roof of the parking garage. Then we have a perfect view of the fireworks that the shoot off downtown.

I also made a video about the new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trailer. You can view it here if anyone wants.

Great Couple of Days

I was so right to be excited about the last couple of days.

Friday started off with an amazing breakfast of scrambled eggs and toast. I then went to do some laundry but was then distracted by the office. I ended up helping clean out the kitchen closet which was really gross and had a bunch of spider egg sacks in there. We got around that and finished cleaning the kitchen up. I finished my laundry and took a wonderful 30 minute power nap followed by an intense hour long workout.

Yesterday, I was able to sleep in until 11:30 AM. I only woke up because Angela texted me that she was on her way here. When she got here, we along with Fernanda went to Whataburger and came back to watch the horrible USA game. Angela left and then Fernanda and I went to Kroger's to buy some candy.

I then went to Ana' s apartment to start cooking food. It was so good. Our boss and her kids came by and we had so much fun playing games and eating food.

After dinner, Luke came over and we played one more game. After that was one and over, Luke and I went to 59 diner for milkshakes and fries. It was pretty much the best way to end the day.

Busy Summer

It has been awhile again, I know. I have been so busy with all of the conferences. I am on call this week so I cannot really leave campus more than five minutes away. So basically that means I can go get food and then come back. I have not been able to see Luke in a week. I know, I should not complain because I would see him everyday for about three years.

My life has been pretty full with food. Tomorrow, I am going to make breakfast with some friends. I am excited for eggs and toast. Saturday evening, I am going to be making some Mexican food with some other friends from scratch. Even the tortillas. I am really excited.

I use to dye my hair blonde for about six years but last year I started to dye a dark brown. Well now I miss my blonde hair and want it back. I tried to dye my hair blonde on Sunday but it was an utter fail. My hair is a bit lighter at the roots and that is about it.

It Has Been Awhile

Like the title says it has been a long time since I have written a blog post. Things have been so busy with my job. I feel like I am forever having to work.

Luke and I had a pretty interesting little spat last week but luckily everything is good now.

Tomorrow at like 5 in the morning, I am leaving for Colorado for the weekend. My dad's cousin is getting married on Friday so I am going to that. I am really nervous because this is the first time I am flying by myself as an adult. I did fly by myself when I was younger but my parents were able to take me to the gate. I am also flying out of an airport that I have never flown out of. So I just hope that I am able to find everything by myself. Well I guess I have to. I am just glad that Luke is taking me and then picking me up.

Short Quick Post

I feel like it has been forever since I wrote a blog. Things just have been so busy with training for my job. We have been going all day and then at the end I am so tired that I just go to sleep. Luckily we finished training yesterday but our first conference comes today so fun. I cannot wait.

Well, that is pretty much everything that I wanted to say so yeah. Sorry this is so bad. I just wanted to post something.

Summer Time

It is summer. I finished my last final on Tuesday. It was really nice to be able to finish early but it is too bad that I have not been able to really relax.

I went home on Wednesday only because I had stuff to do but I was back at school that night for Fernanda's birthday dinner. After that, we had a dance party on the roof of our parking garage. I know what you are thinking, we are so cool.

Thursday I was back up at school to work. My friends wanted to have some girl time afterwards but it turned into a few of us watching Rakel pack.

Friday I had to do something with money. I did not understand but my dad did so that is good I guess. That night was suppose to be a girls night with Jennifer, Angela, and Laura but that fell through twice.

Saturday was Emily's first communion and my sister's big choir show. That was all day.

Today, I basically did nothing but go to mass. So today has not been that bad. I just feel like I have not had that much sleep because so many of these things were so early in the morning.

New Mac

I know in my las post was about my computer problems. Well I had more of those this morning. The difference is was that I was home this time so my parents were able to see what I was talking about. I told my dad that I really needed a new computer and I wanted a mac. My dad has only used PCs so he did not know what would be good so we went down to the apple store and I left with a brand new 13 in MacBookPro. It is beautiful and wonderful and I love it so much. My dad seem impressed but at the same time a little confused because he does not know that much about macs.

Today is mother's day and I just wanted to say that I love my mom. I doubt she will ever read this but I thought I should say.

Comuter Problems

It is finals time here at my college. That means studying and papers. Tuesday night, I was working on my last paper of the semester when my computer died. It sucked so much. I was almost done with my paper and it was due the next day. Luckily, Hannah let me use her computer to start my paper all over again.

Wednesday, I took my computer to Best Buy so that Geek Squad could try and fix it. At first they said it would be 3-5 days. I started to panic because all of my notes for this semester are on my computer. Then he said for an extra $150 they could do it in 24-26 hours. My dad took pity on me and paid for it.

Yesterday also was my school's late night breakfast. This is where the professor serve us breakfast. It is so much fun. They also have a raffle so you have a chance to win stuff. After that was the dance in the dorm. It was Cinco De Mayo theme. I had a blast dancing with my friends all night.

Today is our school's dead day where we are suppose to be studying all day long like good students. Mostly it is a day for professor to hold review sessions and students to sleep.

I finally got my computer back this afternoon. I feel so happy. I felt so disconnected from the world. I know that sometimes I choose not to get on my computer for days at a time but that is my choice. It felt so weird not having that option. I hated it. I know I have a problem. I am addicted to the internet. Most definitly addicted to YouTube.

In other news, I found out today that I made conference assisant so I get to leave in the dorm for free this summer. I am very excited about that.

Hello People

So did you miss me? I hope not. It has only been two days. I was going to blog yesterday but I was really tired so I decided against it.

Friday afternoon, I went over to Luke's for a bit so that I would have a chance to hang out with him this weekend. He was going to the movies with some friends that night and invited me. I went along. This one girl, lets called her Madonna, was so pissed off that I showed up with MY boyfriend and that he wanted to sit next to me and hold my hand, and let with me that she completely ignored me all night. Now, we used to be really good friends in high school until she starting blaming me for all of her personal drama. I am just so sick of it that I just do not care anymore. I still had a really great time with everyone else there.

Yesterday was Rakel's birthday. I missed most of their fun because I had to work. When I joined them, they were at the pool. We played beach volleyball and lounged next to the pool. We then saw our school's production of Steel Magnolias. It was so amazing. My friend Allie played the mother. She is little tiny women but man can she scream. She had the whole place in tears. I am so sad that she is graduating in like two weeks.

Now onto today, it was my sister's junior ring ceremony. She is in high school. I went to really small, private, Catholic high school so things like this are a big deal. I got to see my parents to for a little bit so that was cool. I also got to my sister for a little bit. I did not even get to ask her about how her toe is doing since she broke it on Friday. Sometimes I just feel like we are not that close and she would rather spend her time with her friends. Oh well. Life moves on.

Last Day

It is the very last day of BEDA. I cannot believe that I have made it all the way through. I am glad I did this because I do enjoy writing. I think this saved my blog. I will not write something everyday but I will try and blog more often.

Today is a priest at my school birthday. Well, it is not his birthday today but we celebrated it today. They had ice cream and German chocolate cake for free in the cafe. It was so good. The more guy could not eat though because everyone kept coming to talk to him. This one girl really annoyed me because she was acting like his best friend just because some people were recording. Before she got there, they said that they loved that we were not looking at the camera but acting naturally. This girl, on the other hand, everything she saw the camera on, she would race to give him a hug or look at the camera or hold his hand. It made me sick that she was only give him the time of day because it was being filmed.

Well, that was a nice rant. I have some errands to run now. I will see you guys in the future.

No Class

Today is awesome because all of my classes for today have been cancelled. So I got to sleep in till 10:30 so that was nice. I saw Luke for about 2 minutes. I then have spent the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon with Angela in the Res Life Office. I helped her with some idea for the bulletin board.

It makes me sad that summer is almost here because that means I have to move out. Though, I am applying to be a conference assistant. If I get that job, I will not have to move out. I really hope I do.

Winner

So every Wednesday night, my dorm has a little event. It has a theme with the food and is a good time to come socialize. All semester long, they have had the caught you campaign. Basically if the RA on-call caught you studying in public, you got a ticket. Tonight was the night you could win. You had to bring your ticket and put in for whatever prize you want. I do not study in public so I had no tickets. But the RA were trying to give away tickets so I got a bunch. I really wanted this bag so I put most of my tickets into that one. I put some other tickets in a few other just cause. I ended up winning this green lunch box, a six pack of IBC Black Cherry, a beach ball, and a water ball set. My roommate ended up winning the bag. She did not want it so she gave it to me. This has been a great night.

It is even better knowing that all my classes for tomorrow have been cancelled.

Weird Dream

Last night, I had a very weird dream. I dreamed that John Green was at my school, well actually in my English class. It was not the English class I am not but it was still an English class. We divided into group for a triva game. It was him, me, and some other girl. We then had to pick two people from our group to give the answers. John and the other girl were ours. This put them on the other side of the room for me so we could not talk about it. So instead I kept texting the girl (even though I have no idea who she was) what I believed in my gut to be the answer. We kept getting it wrong. Afterwards, John was telling me that I need to trust my head over my gut. He said that is the best way to get through life. This is even funnier because he made a video earlier this year just on that topic.

Well, besides that weird dream, thing have been pretty boring round here.

Too Busy

Sorry about yesterday. I was just very desperate to get something posted in time. I cannot believe that I forgot. Oh well.

Today has been pretty good. I did the normal stuff as always. Class, food, workout, study, and took a test. I went to my school's pop show tonight. It was so good. My friend Maria was amazing. I loved it so much.

I went to CVS today and bought some more nail polish. It will be easier for me to change the polish now. They had "Lightning," Sally Hansen Insta-Dri. I almost bought it because that is what Hayley is wearing right now but I decided against it because I personally do not really like the color.

I know have some homework that is calling my name. Well more like screaming it.

Must Write

I totally forgot about this until right now. I only remembered because I was writing Paradise Lost and there is a line in there about the situation. In Hayley G Hoover's blog, she refers to her boyfriend as the situation, so that is how I remembered that I need to blog so this is going to be short.

I bough a fish yesterday. He is a gorgeous, blue male beta. His name is Sir Reginald. I have to get him officially approved of tomorrow so that I can have him in the dorm. Yeah.

Today was just a lazy Sunday. I made video but has yet to put it up on YouTube. I should go do that.

Water Wars

The Astros game was so good. We won and it was amazing. I got a free blanket and I walked past Craig Biggio without even knowing it. Such a good night. I did have a headache though from laying in the grass all afternoon. Stuid allergies. Luke and I came back to the end of the crawfish boil on campus. He took a bunch home with him.

This morning our dorm had an event called water wars. It was suppose to be all these different water games but it just turned into capture the flag and going on the giant slip and slide. It was fun to watch. I really wish I could have done it but I had to stay dry so I could come to work feeling nice. The capture the flag game was interesting because the two teams were armed with water balloons and sacks of flower. If you got hit with a water balloon, you had to freeze until someone from your team hit you with a sack of flower. They all had just put sunscreen on, too. So they were all pretty disgusting afterwards. They, then, all jumped on the slip and slide at once and got yelled at. It was so much fun to watch.

Perfect Blogging Weather

It is so nice outside. That is why I am sitting outside with Laura and Angela on a blanket.

Last night was so much fun after the post. I went to my room to Hayley G Hoover doinb blogtv. I then went to Angela's room to get nail polish but she would not answer. I went to Fernanda's room. She had some and told me that everyone is at Rakel's room and was watching a movie. I went there and only Maria and Rakel were there watching James Bond. A little bit later Ronald came in for about 10 minutes and then went to bed. I painted my nails Petites Pretty in Pink. Jennifer came in later and was super hyper. I left a bit later because I was already falling asleep.

Today has been good. I am just having a fabulous day with Laura and Angela complaining about life: boys and roommates. Tonight I am going to the Astros game with Luke and my family.

What? Interesting Day!?!?

Today has been crazy busy. I went to class like always. After I decided to go visit Angela in the reslife office. I was there for awhile. We went to go get lunch and went back to the office. I need to do laundry so I left. A little while later, I got a call from Angela asking if I wanted to got to kroger with her. I need some things so I went with her. Came back in time to move my clothes from the washer to the dryer. I come back down stair and then Angela said she was going to help with the dog. I was curious, so I followed. It turned out Hannah was doing a speech about why everyone should own a dog. For a visual aid, she brought her dog. She needed someone to hold him while she gave her speech. Afterwards, I was in the perfect place to head over to the library to pick up some books for the paper I need to write on King Lear. Come back just in time to pull my clothes out of the dryer. Put those away and then head off for a quick bit of dinner and then off to work where I am now.

I know. I cannot believe it either. I have had a pretty good day. I was even doing pretty good about what I was eating until dinner. I had two hot dogs. Not that big of a deal. Then I bought an ice cream cone. It was good and big. While I am at work, Angela comes in and says she is going to Sonic and asked if I wanted anything. Of course I wanted a Sonic blast. I eat way too much. I have a problem that needs to be stopped.

As for my paper, I remembered writing a good paper on King Lear in high school so I am waiting to see if my dad can find it. If he does, I am just going to tinker with it a little bit and turn that sucker in. Yeah. That is how awesome I am.

Blogging From Class Again

I am in class right now just bored out of my mind.

I have the greatest friends in the world. Just having dinner with them everyday makes everything worth wild. I have the best time with them. I love my little college family so much.

I am almost died today but not really. Luke was just getting mad cause I threaten to throw his wallet out the door. I was not really going to do it. It was just fun to see his face as I said I was going to do it.

I think that is about it for today. I feel so bad that my blog post are so short. I wish that I had something more interesting to put in here.

I think that it is so weird that someone would just leave the new version of the iphone around. I mean seriously? Oh well. Of course, now there are tons of stories about how it was on purpose or that it is a fake and whatever else. No one really knows what to believe. Yeah so that is life.

At dinner, Fernanda was like let's all go around and say what was the best part of our day. It was cute. It our little family. I think that made my day because I have not really done anything else worth wild. I mean right now I am at work doing nothing really.

Another Day, Another Blog Post

Today was fun. I went to the Symphony with Laura and Angela today. It was alright. The music was nice but just not my type of music. We kind of fell asleep and texting people about how the Astros game was going. If anyone is interested, we won. Yeah. This is really boring. After that, Angela and I ordered pizza and attempt to do homework. Then mass. Yep that was my lame day.

The Formal

To start the night off, I went to Jenny's apartment to get ready. I was then joined by Laura who was about 2 and half hours late. I was going to wear this white dress I had but Laura told me to try on this black dress she had. I did and looked amazing so I wore that instead. Then we got a call from Lilia saying she did not know where the museum was, even though it was 5 minutes down the street, she came to the apartment and we headed off.

The drive there was interesting because we have to go through one of those stupid round-abouts and JP and I tried to tell Laura to go on the correct street but she would not listen to us and it took us an extra five minutes to figure it out.

The museum is fun idea but not so much in reality. There was not that much room and there was no where to sit. There was literary five trays of food for the whole night. It was not even normal food but just a bunch of random unappealing food. Then to find out we had to pay for our own drinks including water, even after paying $10 to get in. Luckily everyone got one free non-alcoholic drink as long as you had the ticket. So I got my one water. I did not bring any money because I though I would not need it. There was hardly any room to dance but that did not stop people. It was a fun night mainly because of the people I was with.

After the dance, we went back to Jenny's to spend the night. We changed into much more comfortable clothes and then went to Whataburger to get some food because we were starving. We came back to see the most gory, confusing movie ever. I cannot even remember the name of it. Oh well. Angela and I attempted to share the cough to sleep on for the night. It did not go so well. Oh well. I still got some sleep.

Tomorrow is my other friend Jennifer's birthday and we are going to Olive Garden tonight. I am looking forward to that.

Tired Formal

Today has been pretty busy and its not anywhere close to being over.

I went to class like normal. My boss took today off, so I worked from 10 till 3. That was a very long 5 hours with not much to do. It looks so pretty outside and for most of the day, I have to just look at it through the window. It is so much different during the day. People actually expect you to know what to do to.

Later is my school's formal dance which is not even that fancy. It is being held at the museum so that should be fun. Luke's not going so that is sad. I also found out today is the reason my friends never invited me to get ready and what not is because they claim they did not know I was going even though I said it several times this week. Oh well. I will still have fun with Jennifer and Laura.

Today was another chill day. I am so tired that I almost when to be without writing here.

Today was filled with pizza and McDonald's. Yummy yum yum. Anyway, the most important thing I did today was laundry. Yay. I just kind of hung out with people all day while the worked. Fun stuff.

Tomorrow is my school's formal. I am pretty excited for that even though Luke is not going. Oh well. It will still be fun since I am "going" with Laura. Yeah well. I wish I could write more but I just want to go to sleep.

The Post Office Stinks

Sometimes I just wonder if people live for drama. I mean so many people seem to be having trouble today. Oh well. I must move on.

Today was another low key day. I got my advising done today for classes in the fall. I am going to be taking all education classes so I am very excited about that. Though, I cannot register until I have been officially accepted into the school of education which should be soon.

I finally went to the post office today to mail a book off to my cousin. I was so confused there. They have there flat rate stuff so I thought I would use that but I thought I would need a box since it was a book but all the books were really large. I was able to fit it in one of those big envelope things but I was worried they would not accept it but thankfully they did.

Yawn Oh Man Gotta Write

This is probably the latest I have waited to blog. I have a pretty boring day today. I got up, had a nice breakfast, at which I annoyed Luke. Went to class. Ate some lunch. Did pretty much nothing all afternoon, ate dinner, and then went to work. So yeah.

After work, my friend and I went to McDonald's because I was hungry. I wanted a kid's meal because I was not that hungry and they are cheaper. We were wondering if they would let because I am not a kid so we started making up stories and we laughed so hard. It was amazing. The best part is it came with a toy. They are dragons from that new movie.

People These Days

Today people have just annoyed me. I mean just because I say something, that does not mean everyone needs to ask if I am mad at them. I mean really now? I just do not get it. I will be doing nothing to this person, put something on Facebook that has absolutely nothing to do with them and then ask if they are mad at them. Goodness people get a live. Facebook has really been annoying me lately. I am thinking of just deleting it or deactivating it as that is what the only allow you to do. It is just Facebook people. Not a big day.

Other than that today was pretty good. It was a pretty laid back day. Had a nice workout today and did not drop my iPod this time.

Do I Have To?

Yeah. I really don't want to be doing this mainly because I have not had that much of an interesting day. I basically slept in, ate, got my car inspected, read, ate, and went to church. Yeah so so not much of an exciting day. I guess the rest of my weekend was so much fun that I just wanted a day to do nothing and that is pretty much what I did.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson is amazing. I think that everyone should read it. It is so funny. I was laughing so many times when I was reading. Definitely John's funniest book to date.

I really should be doing some homework right now but I am avoiding it. Oh well. I guess I should answer the call.

Amazing Night

Last was one of the best nights of my life. As I was leaving to make the drive, the front desk worker tells me that I have a package. My book arrived just in time. So the whole 3 hours drive, I kept thinking to myself that I could not believe that I was going to meet John Green. I was a little nervous once I got to Austin because I had only been to Austin like once or twice before and it was never by myself. But I found the book store and could not wait. I quickly bought a book for Kate and ran upstairs. The place was crowded and it was only 6:20. There were no seats left so I had to stand. At the end of the event, not only was the room completely full but so were the stairs. It was amazing. I had never seen so many nerdfighters in one place. Like someone said, "These are our people."

The other thing was, I felt sorry for David Levithan because I would have to say that at least 98% of the people were there just to see John Green like myself. It was still amazing. Both of them were hilarious. They kept us laughing the entire time. Starting with them walking down the stairs, telling us were the came up with the book, to reading parts from both of their part of the book, to answering questions. It was amazing. The bookstore sold out of the new book about 5 minutes after I got there.

The best part lasted only for about a minute. It was when I got up to the front of the line and they signed by books. I actually got to talk to John Green. It was amazing. Those two totally made the 6 hour drive worth it. I cannpt wait to finish reading the book because just from the parts they read, we were all dying laughing. I did get a bunch of videos if anyone wants to watch them here.

Right now I am work using the computer here. Tonight I am going out with Luke. I am not really sure what we are going to do right now but we shall see.

John Green

Today's blog post is coming pretty early. Not much has happened much today. I took a quiz on Hamlet is English, drove my friend to his job, and ate some delicious Chipotle. But I cannot miss a day of BEDA when I am doing so well.

The reason it is coming so early is because this afternoon I am driving to Austin to see John Green. I am so excited. But the problem is that by the time I get back it will most likely be after midnight so here I am. I am debating buying a copy of Will Grayson, Will Grayson tonight so that they can sign it and then just have two copies.

April 8th: Another Day

I have some pretty creepy friends. Today, as I was walking back into my dorm, I saw Angela just staring there through the door at me. She has got to be one of the biggest creepers ever. No. I am just kidding. But it did give me someone to have lunch with since Luke bailed on me. She works in the res life office so she made me eat lunch with her in there. There were a good number of people in there so that made it interesting.

This afternoon, I painted my nails. Well, at least I tried to paint my nails more like it. They look fine now but at first it was pretty bad. It looked more like I tried to paint my fingers instead. I guess I will get better with practice. I painted them a shade of purple basically. Its Sally Hansen HD Cyber.

I had a nice dinner outside in the amazing weather with Brain, Rakel, Maria, Therese, Fernanda, and Angela. This proves once again that Brain really is the ladies man.

Right now I am typing this quickly so that I can finish the laundry that I forgot to do earlier when I decided painting my nails were more important.

I am still waiting for Will Grayson, Will Grayson to get here. It is getting very annoying since I will be driving to Austin tomorrow to meet John Green.

A Wonderfully Boring Day

A new day yay. So not much happened today. I went to class. Boring. Worked out. Yay. Dropped by iPod. Boo. Ate some yummy food. Had a nice dinner outside. Yeah that pretty much it. Sorry my day sucked.

Still no Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Amazon is now saying it will get her next Monday which makes me very upset. Oh well. At least I get to meet John Green on Friday. I am so excited.

The most interesting part of the day was talking with Jennifer about our love of Harry Potter and John Green. I love my friends. Pretty much. I just am ready for school to be over with because I miss sleep.

I just want you to know that even though my day is boring, I still have a lot of fun that may not seem interesting such as making fun of Luke or have conversations via Twitter. Thats pretty much my life. Boyfriend and the internet.

Christina

Such a Nice Day

I want to start off with a conversation that just happened.
Me: Hi Brain.
Brain: Hello Maria.
Me: What??
B: I mean uh uh. Well I just saw Maria and then Therese waved at me so I meant to say hello Christina.
Me: I thought we were friends and friends don't their friends names.
Maria: Well you are just not as good as friends as we are.
B: I am sorry I have no excuse for that.
Me: I understand. I saw on Facebook you just broke up with Angela.
B: Yeah but I have moved on.
Me: With who?
B: Lots of people.
M: With Maria?
B: No I have standards.
At this point I am laughing and Maria turns her back.

Well that was fun. So the first part of the day sucked because I was in class waiting for the mail to arrive so I could get my copy of Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Oh course, just my luck, it did not come today. That made me very angry. But, on the plus side I finally got my ALL CAPS CD, stickers, t-shirt, and buttons. That made me happy.

As the title suggests, it was gorgeous outside. I love eating outside on days like this and this is exactly what I did. But then I had to go to work so that was no fun. Yeah thats my day pretty much.

Christina

School. Grumble Grumble

It was so fun having to go back to school after my nice short break. Though I was able to get some sleep last night. The problem was that I usually wake up at 7:40 to get ready and have time to eat. So my alarm went off and I turned it off. I usually sit there for a minute to wake up before I get out of bed. This proved to be a bad idea today. I luckily woke up at 8:01, so I still had plenty of time to get ready and grab something quickly from the lounge and make it to class.

In my English class, we are read Hamlet right now. So I was just sitting there half paying attention when my teacher starts talking about Hamlet was able to sneaked into a tent. The whole time I was wondering if it was suppose to be snuck. I am not 100% on this and I most likely wrong. It was just something that seemed odd to me.

In my other class, astronomy, we were talking about our solar system. People brought in different sized balls to represent the planets and the sun. Who ever was suppose to bring a ball that represent Earth failed to do so but my earing was the perfect size so I got to be the Earth. We then went out into the mall to space them to scale. We did not even get to the last two planets because they were just to far away and we did not have the time. Luckily for me, I did not have to walk that far being the Earth and all. I was just a real big eye opener.

I am very excited for tomorrow because John Green's new book, Will Grayson, Will Grayson, comes out. I pre-ordered this and it should arrive. Obviously this will be the next book that I am going to read. Then Friday will be meeting John Green when I drive out to Austin to him.

Happy Easter!!

Hi and welcome to the fourth day of BEDA. Today is a pretty special day because it is Easter.

So last night, I had the worse time ever trying to fall asleep. I went to bed at 11pm but did not fall asleep till about 2 am and woke up about 4 am. I have no idea why this happened at all. I finally got up at 5:15 to get ready for mass. Mass was at 6:3o in the morning and is usually outside but not this year. It was kind of misting and wet so we had to be inside so that no one would get electrocuted. After mass, we went to get some donuts. Both of my parents are on a diet so my dad did not want any donuts. So when we went in, we bought him a donut hole but the lady ended up giving us three instead.

For the afternoon, we went over to my cousin's house. We played this game called pictionary telephone. You play by having a stack of paper for each person that is playing. On the first sheet of paper, you write down a simple sentence. You then pass the stack to the next person. They look at the sentence and then put that sheet at the back of the stack. Then draw the sentence on the next piece of paper. Then again it is passed to the next person. That person then looks at the picture and then puts the paper at the back of the stack. On a new piece of paper they write what they believe is going on in the picture. This continues until everyone receives their original stack back. You go through everything starting with your original sentence all the way to the end to see how different it is. That was so much fun. At one point, I was laughing so hard that I started to cry.

We then stuffed our faces full of tons of food and deserts. The younger kids then went swimming while the rest of us watch some TV sort of. After a while we watched Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. We watched this because my cousin knew the family sort of through friends and their home school group. It was a family of 15 who live in Kemah. They lost their house from Ike last year. All of 15 of them were living in a trailer for 18 months. Most of the children were not there own flesh and blood. They adopted children that no one else wanted. Ones that had special needs. They took these children in and gave no thought to them being different. The youngest daughter's name was Mercy. She was 2 years old and had to have oxygen and be feed through a tube. She could not see and could not smell. She was the cutest baby every. When they built the house, the put special accommodations in for her and her brother that was very similar to her. As they roll the credits, it pops up that she died 2 weeks after they filmed this. It was so sad to see her survive through so much and then have her taken away from us after she was given what she needed. She died due to complications of what she had. It was just so sad to this beautiful girl's face for 2 hours and then know she is no longer here. This just stinks so much.

Day 3

I am pretty proud of my self for keeping up with this even though it is only the third day. Yeah well, let's just see how this goes.

Today start off pretty lazy. Not getting up till like noon. Yeah. I have been pretty bad about that. Tomorrow is going to kick my butt when I have to get up at 5 for sunrise mass at 6:30. But it will be totally worth it when I am in the presence of God as the sun comes up. Any who, not sure anyone wants to hear that. I had a pretty low key day. I got up and had a nice chat with Luke on Skype since I have not seen him all break. I think that is a good thing because it has been nice just to relax at home for a change.

I made a cake today. I had to have my dad help because I have never done that before. I hope it turns out well. It is for tomorrow when my mom's side of the family get together to be fat asses and stuff our faces as we run around like wild monkeys. It is tons of fun and I cannot wait.

For dinner we had fajitas and I almost killed myself. I started to choke and my family did nothing. My mom asked me if I was OK while I was still coughing and could not answer her. Then after that, nothing. I was just choking with no more than a glance at me. What loving a loving family huh? Nah. I am just kidding. They are pretty great.

Speaking of my great family, we went to see How to Train Your Dragon tonight. It was so incredibly cute. I loved it. I think that everyone should go and see it. I am completely serious.

I finish read That Summer yesterday and is now reading Someone Like You also by Sarah Dessen. Yeah I think thats it.

April 2nd and Still Going

Yesterday after I posted by blog, I read on Maureen Johnson's twitter that is blog every day August not April. Well, there are still a ton of people that are blogging everyday this month. So I decided I will try my best to keep this up and blog everyday.

Today, was a pretty low key. I did not wake up till 10:30 which was nice. My dad works half days on Friday so when he came home my entire family went to Long John Silver's for some good old fish on Good Friday. After that, we dropped my dad and David off at the house so they can take my dad's car in for service. Then my mom, Sarah, and I went to Barnes and Nobles to buy some books. I ended up only buying 7. I still have a least 9 more books at this present time that I want to buy and read. So I finished up reading Dreamland by Sarah Dessen and now have started That Summer also by Sarah Dessen. I am hoping that I will be able to read 50 books this year. We will see how this goes.

Sarah and I dyed Easter eggs today. I remember when I was little, this used to be a big deal for us. My mom would hard boil a couple dozen eggs and we would all gather to do this. The last couple of years it has just been Sarah and I that keep up with this. I think it only took us like 20 minutes to do it this year. It is a little sad to think that we have grown so much and that in a couple years time, I will no longer be there so this and it will probably die out. So that is what I think about.

Blog Every Day April?

So the answer to the question is yes. Maureen Johnson started this last year I believe. It is just something were people blog and/or vlog everyday. Now I feel that doing both would be too much and I would have no idea what to talk about. I am going to try my hardest to blog everyday. Any who knows, I might actually blog a lot after this.

Well, I am on Easter break now. It started for me yesterday at 10 am. I usually have class Wednesday night but my professor cancelled it calling it a God's day because it was so beautiful and gorgeous outside. I am back home and not doing much. Yesterday I mostly just messed around with my new webcam. That was fun. Also I have become a freak about making videos so you should check them out here.

Today, I have a bunch of stuff to do. I have to get my car inspected and get the tags renewed. Then I have to go to the store and buy somethings and then hard boil some eggs for dying later. Well its not too much but a lot considering I got up at 11:30 this morning and still haven't gotten dressed.

Blogging in Class

I am being really bad right now and blogging in class. Oh well. I cannot focus. I only have a grand total of 2 classes: one today and one tomorrow until I am on Easter break. I cannot wait. So the point of this blog is to talk about next week. Next Friday, John Green will be in Austin promoting his new book. I am really hoping that I get to go and that Luke and Jennifer get to come with me. I want to go so bad. I love watching his videos and I love his books. They are amazing. One of the best authors of our time.

This was a pointless blog. Oh well. Oh I have some new videos up on my youtube channel. You guys should check it out if you want.

I think it is About Time for a New Post

I feel so bad that it has been so long that I have written a new blog post. I have been so busy and also just so lazy. I will be at my computer and be like I need to blog but then go I will just do it later. Well here I am now.

First thing to cover is Spring Break. This started on the 12th. That day my friends and I loaded up our cars and set out for the city of San Antonio. So I used to go to school in San Antonio so I had a pretty good idea of where we needed to go and so forth. Everyone else on the other hand, were freaking out that we were lost and never going to find the hotel. Well, long story short, I found the hotel with no problem at all. So then we had some fun in the hotel. We then went to the pool. We got kicked out of the pool and walked back to the room.

The next day we went to Six Flags. We rode a bunch of rides and just had a blast taking pictures with all the characters. We were there when it opened at 10 am and left about 5 pm. It was a great day.

The next day was downtown and to the riverwalk. We basically did a lot of shopping and walking. The mall on the riverwalk is awesome because it has a purple store and purple is my favorite color of all time. We also saw the original St. Mary's which is on the riverwalk and is now a hotel. It was so beautiful. I wish that it was still there and I could have lived and gone to school there. Oh well. That night we went back to the hotel and just chilled and had some girl talk.

Monday we packed up early and headed back to Houston. Once back, I took Maria and Therese to the airport and then headed home.

Tuesday was a low key day for me. I slept in a lot and ran a few errands.

Wednesday was St. Patrick's Day. I got a massage that day. It felt so good. So then some may have seen from dailybooth, I went shopping with my mom and sister. That was fun and I got a ton of new clothes.

Thursday was date night with Luke. We saw Alice in Wonderland which was amazing.

Friday was another busy day with shopping and what not.

Saturday I got my hair done with my mom. It was much needed and I am glad I finally got it done.

Sunday, it was back to school for me but not before I went to the airport to pick up Therese and Maria.

Then this week has been busy with the normal school and work but I also was observing math classes at a school near mine. That took up a lot of time this week. Luckily for me, I am done with that and do not have to worry about that anymore.

Friday, I went to the Aeros game with Luke, my dad, and my brother. The game was so good and we won. Then when my dad dropped Luke and I back at school, some our friends were outside. They said they were going to the teahouse and that we should go with them. We said yes cause we wanted to see what it was like. I am not much of a tea drinker so I got some coffee. It was OK. Nothing amazing or anything.

That has been pretty much my life lately.

Christina

Grocery Horror Stories

I just went to the grocery store and I thought that I would be in and out in no time at all. I mean I was only buying three items and I knew exactly where there were in the store. So I go in, grab my items, and then go the check out. Then I remembered that this is when all the old people shop and they can never just check out. They have to stand there for at least 5 minutes arguing over the price of something. Then they pull out their coupons and then fight some more. Then they will pull out their card to further give a discount. Then after all that they will finally pull out their money to pay. Not after the fact that will change their mind on about 5 of their items. I just do not get it. It totally reminds me of this song which I had in my head the whole time waiting. I really hope that I do not turn into this when I get old. Well I think this is enough of a rant for today.

4 Years?!?!?!?

It has been awhile. So anyway, it is almost spring break. I just have to survive this week. It should not be that hard. I have a lab today and then a midterm on Thursday and another one on Friday and then it is spring break!!! I cannot wait.

Today is Luke and mine anniversary. In fact it is our forth. It is kind of weird to know that we have been dating longer then some married people were ever together. It has been a pretty crazy day. First I fell asleep after my alarm went off so I only woke up when Luke text me. So that was pretty lucky. I some how got ready in 15 minutes. The only problem was I was still tired so I was barely even able to feed myself. So I then went to class and then to go work out. Luke and I decided to eat super healthy by eating at Whataburger. It was delicious.

We came back and then he decided it would be super fun to annoy me. He just kept poking me which annoyed me to no end. And now we are in class and I am blogging and eating gummy bears because I did not eat dinner. Well that has been my boring day. lol. Anyways my neck really hurts and I don't know why.

Valentine's Day Weekend (very late)

I feel so bad because I have had no motivation to blog lately. Nothing really exciting has happened lately. Well lets think.

My grandma's birthday was good. There were tons of people there for the open house. It was pretty funny when my uncle and I went to Olive Garden and told them that we needed a table for 23 people plus a highchair. There faces were so hilarious. It makes it even funnier knowing that is not all of my family. Haha. Oh well, large families ftw.

Valentine's day was also pretty good. We went to Grimaldi's Pizzeria which amazing. The pizza is so freaking good. The only thing that sucked was the waitress accidentally spilled our drinks on me but other than that it was good. We then went to Barnes and Noble where I finally bought all three of John Green's books. Then Luke had to write a paper so I started on Looking for Alaska. It is so good and everyone should go and read it. Well then we went to Burger King for dinner. We saw the movie Valentine's Day which is pretty good. I was a little surprised at the end. Sorry no spoilers.

I cannot really think of anything else blog worthy of importance.

Random Updates about a Boring Life

I love to write. I really do. It is a great way to get feelings out when you can't do else wise. It does not even have to be the emotion that I am feeling. The only problem is my life is pretty boring during the week. I feel pretty bad that I don't blog more than I do. I pretty much only blog on the weekends because that is when all the fun and exciting things happen it my life. During the week I pretty much only go to class, eat, do homework, work, sleep, and hang out with some friends in between all of that. That is pretty boring and no one want to hear it or read it and I do not want to write about it. I hope that my life will get more exciting soon.

The weird thing about sleep with me is how I am just not that tired anymore. I used to be like tired all of the time. Now I get about 6 or 7 hours of sleep and I am wide awake until that night when I am going to sleep. This is a pretty weird feeling for me because it has never happened like this before. Not that I am complaining at all. It makes me feel like a functioning human being.

Well as for this weekend, there are two very important event coming up. Number 1, on Saturday, it is my Grandma's 80th birthday. That is pretty exciting. The family is going to gather at her house and hang out. Number 2, on Sunday it is Valentine's Day. That is also pretty exciting. Though I have no idea what I am doing. Luke keeps saying that he is going to surprise me but I believe that is just code for 'I have no idea what to do so I am just saying this so it does not look that way'. Well I don't really care. The truth is that I have not even got him something nor do I think I will.

Christina

Weekend Updates

What a great weekend. Long but wonderful.

Friday was my brother and sister's confirmation. That was so amazing. Being a part of their whole journey has been amazing and wonderful. Then so see them in front of the whole Church asking God to be a part of their lives forever was breathtaking. I am so proud of the entire group. I have seen them grow so spiritually throughout the last year.

Saturday, I worked and watched people "enjoying" the "homecoming." Basically my college has decided that it is high school and therefore we must need to have homecoming. They had a little carnival type thing outside were there was like no body there. That was interesting. They made the people working it wear mums which is a very high school thing to do.

If anyone who is not from Texas and is reading this, during homecoming week in high school, girls were huge mums on Friday with tons of ribbons and bells and lights and anything else people can possible thing of putting on them. Some mums are so big they cannot be pinned to the girls' shirt and then must be worn around the next. The mums then usually get hung on the girls' wall for the rest of high school.

All the students were not that trilled with this homecoming cause basically, we are NOT in high school any more and that is something that they need to learn.

Today has been pretty chill. Woke up, went to mass, went to Whataburger, and has been goofing around on the internet since then. Yay for lazy Sundays.

Love ya,
Christina

P.S. My roommate is cooking noodles and they smell so good right now.

Writing Time Baby

I have started writing something. I doubt that anything will come of it. I do not even know if I will even finish it. I just got really inspired last nigh as I stared out the window watching the rain. It was amazing. There I was just avoiding doing anything by staring out the window and then the next thing I know, this story just pops in my head and I am like wow. So I start writing. I do not know where it is going to go right now but I hope it goes well. In the mood of Harry Potter, it is about a young witch. It is not going to be exactly like Harry Potter of course but there will be thing like magic, owls, and learning magic of course. Who knows, maybe one day I could finish it and it could be published.

Well other than that. Life has been pretty good. The only thing I feel bad about is that I have not been able to spend that much time with Luke. I feel really bad about this. It is just that my life is so busy and I am really, really, really happy. I have made some amazing friends who I spend so much time with now mainly because they live on campus like me. Luke on the other hand still lives at home and goes there right after he finished classes. Then on top of that I have work and I have been really busy with my church because of my sister's confirmation and me being her sponsor. I feel like I need a vacation for my life. The next time Luke and I are probably going to go out is for Valentine's day. I will most like cook him dinner so that will be nice.

Love ya,
Christina

Another Post YAY!!!!

It has been a while and I am very bored at work right now and I thought that I should blog. This weekend was very fun. I had a blast with my friend just doing the most random things. Where to start.

On Friday, there was costume dodgeball. I didn't play but I went to go watch. It was so funny watching with Maria because she is so competive and really gets into games. Well the finally two teams were the basketball team and the basketball team and if you ask me, that is not fair to everyone else who wanted to play but whatever. Afterwards, Maria, Fernanda, Rakel, Angela, and I went to House of Pies to eat. We had to be back at school by 9 because that was when Maria had to work. So we rush back not before Angela tried to kill us by trying to run us over. Well we make it in time. Rakel, Angela, and I decide to sit with Maria so she is not bored. We ended up playing Catch Phrase. Then we decided to dance to Single Ladies. It was hilarious.

On Saturday, I woke up early to do laundry which is no fun at all. I then was bored out of my mind at work. Then after I got off work, a whole bunch of people decide to cook spagetti. That was delicious. Then Maria made brownies from scratch. Those were amazing. Then we all played Balderdash and Taboo. And once again Maria was very competive and funny.

Sunday was my very lazy day. I did not get up till 12:30. It was so awesome. When I finally got out of bed, I went to Subway and then to Kroger to get Gen some supplies to make milkshakes. Those were so good and such a blast making them. I do think watching Maria dance and sing to Matellica was way more fun. Anyways, then I had to go to Church and as I was walking out Angela came downstairs. That was the first time I had seen her all day. We went to chuch together. Afterwards we made a quick stop at Starbucks and then off to Jenny's appartment. We were suppose to be doing homework but we ended up talking for 2 hours instead.

Yesterday was a pretty chill day. I went to class, watched some youtube videos, ate, watched some youtube videos, ate, went to class, and then watched some youtube videos. It was a pretty good Monday. Today has pretty much been the same thing except right now I am at work and I cannot get on facebook. :(

Love ya,
Christina
